Hey friend! :) Welcome to LaPorte Lifestyles! I am a Midland, TX based photographer specializing in family, portrait, lifestyle, maternity, and event photography. I have had a passion for photography since I was in high school, where I shot and developed film. It was such a cool experience, and is what furthered my love for the hobby! Since then, I have shot countless family and couples sessions, a Fresh 48, a wedding, and so much more! My main focus with my style is to capture the true authenticity of my subject and give meaning to the photo. Candid pictures are my absolute favorite, so don't be surprised when I tell you a funny joke to get you to laugh, because that is my go to! It is my mission to make you comfortable in front of my lens... so book the session!

This session was so much fun! Katie and her husband, Angelo, wanted to do something unique and exciting for their gender reveal. Angelo has a huge passion for wake surfing, so exploding a canon while surfing behind a boat just seemed like the perfect idea! We hopped on their boat, threw him the canon, and he released the BLUE powder!! Baby Barrett is a BOY!!

Rainbow was my first client EVER when I moved to the small, rural town of Big Spring, TX. Her and I worked together at a local boutique, The Crowned Bird, and we hit it off from the start! We began doing shoots for the boutiques website and socials, and that's where our relationship grew! Rainbow is now Miss Pacific Islander - Utah 2023, and is still one of the most beautiful and kindest people I have ever met.
